Dr. Sophie Chen from Botaniclab (Los Angeles), is a highly respected Taiwanese
herbalist and a former Merck biochemist. According to her, one can make
one's own preparation from one-half cup of fresh soy beans. If fresh is
not available, use dried ones, although fresh is preferred. Chinese doctors find this drink as potent as the medicinal (and quite expensive)
soy drinks in prevention and treatment of cancer.
